Photos and good visibility

It’s a particularly beautiful day today here on the North Kent coast. Cold, clear, bright and still. Simply wonderful. From the window of my home office (a posh term for the spare room with a computer and a bookcase in it) I can just make out Southend. No sign of the VAT office burning down though, I live in hope, sigh. The chimney at Grain power station, some 40 miles away, is quite clear too. The horizon is hard as as straight as a steel rule’s. I adore days like this.

Alas, the problem is I’m at home to work, not admire the views. A super dose of will power has been required all day. That and memsahib with a challenging stare everytime I’ve attempted a feeble excuse to escape outside. However I did take a few minutes to publish some pictures onto this blog. It’s very straight forward on msn, thankfully. If you get the chance, please have a look.

England playing footy tonight. I’m hopelessly optimistic in these matters. I also, luckily, seem to thrive on the contsant dis-appointment that goes with it.

Byeee.

About allatsea

Sixty year old master-mariner. Absolutely gorgeous. Well wedged.....when compared to a Nairobi street urchin. Sorted, in that I haven't been in court recently. Hopelessly optimistic, terminally disappointed. Good with cats and other fluffy things. No musical talent. Generous to a fault provided it's someone else's round. Political centreist with far right and left viewpoints. A green activist from the hydrocarbon position with nuclear leanings. Averse to avarice but always happy to receive lottery wins, gifts, windfalls, legacies, prizes and wet sloppy kisses.
