Seems that tomorrow may be taken as a day’s leave.
Weather forecast is good, even predicted to be a bit warm.
Options, go to 143 and do some gardening or dust of the old Beretta 682, grab 8kg of Gamebore steel cartridges and head off to Kingsferry on the Isle of Sheppy for some Skeet busting. Haven’t been out there for 8 months and those clays are calling out to be dustified. The latter has the greater allure and no mistake. Problem is, need a shooting partner and they’re damned difficult to come by these days. Cost being the main downer for most folks. It can be a bit eye watering on that front at times, there’s no doubt about that, especially if you, like me, like to do two or three hundred targets in one go, so to speak. Throw in a couple of cups of tea at 20p a throw and you’re in danger of having Mervyn King on the blower muttering about deficits.
Volunteers this way please.
