BA out to Copenhagen, train to Odense, boat to Svendborg, taxi to Nyborg, train to Copenhagen, SAS back to Lundunn. Done and dusted, sorted.
As I’ve said before, I like Denmark, always a pleasure to go there. The reasons certainly very noticeable this trip. It’s a place of happy people living in a quietly understated but hugely prosperous, clean, ordered peaceful country. The UK by comparison often appears third world and seemingly populated with angry, aggressive, mal-educated, loudmouthed dunderheads. It’s not the kind of observation that a die hard patriot like allatsea likes to publicise but the truth must be outed, madam.
Gorgeous weather here in Fannit today and living at the recently Blue Flagged beach at Westbrook Bay is hard work. The population of southeast England has turned up and parked out the front. Eeeek, how are we going to get the Roller out of the drive and up to Tesco’s now? Oh well, it could be worse, we could have been up north and have half of northern England parked out the front. There’d be coal dust and horse dropping everywhere and that would never do.
Talking of getting worse, there’s more travel imminent and this time it’s to Wales. No jokes about sheep, coal mines, steel mills or Barry Island please. They’ll be revealed next week……… all being well that is. Have you heard the one about the miner and a rather attractive Ewe?
