Longer than i thought

In a cold and analytical assessment of the remaining items at 143, we produced the following list. It’s much bigger than we’d initially thought it would be. Ooops and groan all rolled into one.

Here tis

Render gable frontage, 5m2 so around 100kgs of mortar required.

Paint existing and new rendering on frontage, WHITE

Touch up black coatings on new woodwork

Seal borders on pillar soffits

Clean windows, front (of rendering stains).

Clear guttering on right hand side back.

Mr Ward to do bay roof and left side main roof tiles.

Rob Reynolds to investigate heating/plumbing options. New boiler, hot tank/ header tank to install.

Roof space/loft to hoover out, woodworm treat and re-board where required. Header tank overflow pipe to replace.

Rear timber (main horizontal beam) to replace. Investigate other rear timber replacement.

Double glazing to install in;

1/      Kitchen

2/      Scullery

3/      Third bedroom

4/      Upstairs bathroom
Anyone out there got a large wodge of dosh spare and willing to donate it the the project? It’s all in a good cause. Your honour.
Failing that, a side splitting joke will do.

About allatsea

Sixty year old master-mariner. Absolutely gorgeous. Well wedged.....when compared to a Nairobi street urchin. Sorted, in that I haven't been in court recently. Hopelessly optimistic, terminally disappointed. Good with cats and other fluffy things. No musical talent. Generous to a fault provided it's someone else's round. Political centreist with far right and left viewpoints. A green activist from the hydrocarbon position with nuclear leanings. Averse to avarice but always happy to receive lottery wins, gifts, windfalls, legacies, prizes and wet sloppy kisses.
