Time moves on, so does life.

Not posted for a month. The death of my bestest mucker took the the light out of the world as I saw it for a while.

So what’s been happening? Well for a start the weather here in Plannit Fannit has resembled a very good August rather than an April after a very poohy and long winter. The seafront has been packed most days. A pain on the domestic front but nice to see none the less. The Turner Centre has opened in Margate, it drew 14000 visitors on the first day, they say. It was certainly busy down there and most noticeably, un-Margate like. Wonderful. Result. Long may it continue. Fingers, knees and toes all crossed on that one. The demograph of dear old Fannit is sadly seriously distorted from the ‘norm’ with its huge proportion of disposessed, work dodging, oxygen thieving lard bags, so it was nice to see a great influx of ‘outsiders’ arrive on the scene. Outsiders who were sober and well behaved, not dressed in Primark’s best and dragging half a dozen snot nosed screaming kiddywinks around with them.

Deep joy.

About allatsea

Sixty year old master-mariner. Absolutely gorgeous. Well wedged.....when compared to a Nairobi street urchin. Sorted, in that I haven't been in court recently. Hopelessly optimistic, terminally disappointed. Good with cats and other fluffy things. No musical talent. Generous to a fault provided it's someone else's round. Political centreist with far right and left viewpoints. A green activist from the hydrocarbon position with nuclear leanings. Averse to avarice but always happy to receive lottery wins, gifts, windfalls, legacies, prizes and wet sloppy kisses.
