There you go

It’s all too much for a young lad. You ‘know’ someone for 30 years and then you find out that you don’t know them at all. It’s quite shocking. Shocking and yet, I guess, we’re all capable of it to some extent. Leading a double life that is, or being ‘two’ people.

I know I am. By day, overweight shambling mariner type, mid fifties and full of angst. By night, international rock star/commodities broker, stud-muffin. I walk a fine line. It’s a question of balance of course. Too much one way or the other and it’ll all fall down around your ears.

About allatsea

Sixty year old master-mariner. Absolutely gorgeous. Well wedged.....when compared to a Nairobi street urchin. Sorted, in that I haven't been in court recently. Hopelessly optimistic, terminally disappointed. Good with cats and other fluffy things. No musical talent. Generous to a fault provided it's someone else's round. Political centreist with far right and left viewpoints. A green activist from the hydrocarbon position with nuclear leanings. Averse to avarice but always happy to receive lottery wins, gifts, windfalls, legacies, prizes and wet sloppy kisses.

It’s even worse when you suddenly find you’re sixty-seven and you wonder where it all went to … aaaagh !
