I know it’s been quiet.
Bro’s got as few probs in WA and that’s taken up as lot of time. Just listening is all I do but it seems to help.
Just back at work from 2 weeks leave. All spent at home, chucks and painting mainly. Painting’s all done now but the scaffolding’s still up. The firm’s got transport issues it seems. Whatever, it’s a bit of a pest. Bet they turn up tomorrow morning, just as allatsea puts his lovely little head to the pillow following a 12 hour nightshift. Ugh. Hope not, they can never do anything quietly, bless them.
Three of the 6 chucks have gone all broody now. It must be contagious. Certainly seems that way. Going down with it one by one. Egg production all to cock as a result. The broodies don’t lay and what’s more they sit on the ones that the remainder. So to speak. Now they might be quite ickle these chucks but believe me, you don’t push them off the eggs once they’re in broody mode. No longer comedic gentle yard hens. Now they’re death spitting devil birds and I joke not. Fearsome things.
In a moment of idleness the other day I googled ‘How to get rich’. The answer it seems, again not joking, consists of the following simple actions.
Get rid of car.
Have a target.
Eureka. There you are then. Sorted.
