Winning

The Ayshire winners of th Euro-millions Lotto thing have just been on the telly. Is it just me? Anyone else get the feeling that they’ve already spent their winnings? On pies!! Oh well, it takes all sorts.

Lots and lots of very welcome rain here on the Planet Fannit. Lots of rain but still the ground’s hard and brown. Been a dry old year so far. Not good. That said, it hasn’t really affected the garden cos the chucks have eaten everything that was growing anyway. Every little thing that was in the slightest bit succulent——-gonny. Turned into chuckpoo. This will of course be a good fertilizer to encourage the growth of the next batch of succulent greeny stuff which will be eaten and turned into more chuckpoo. And so on!!

Four eggs today. They’re slowly giving up on this broody milarkey thank goodness. Ever tried a poaching a very fresh egg? Coo, they’re wonderful. Delicious. Getting addicted to them, on toast especially. It’s the best bit about being on nightwatches. Brekky followed by bobos. Roll on 0700. Night night.

About allatsea

Sixty year old master-mariner. Absolutely gorgeous. Well wedged.....when compared to a Nairobi street urchin. Sorted, in that I haven't been in court recently. Hopelessly optimistic, terminally disappointed. Good with cats and other fluffy things. No musical talent. Generous to a fault provided it's someone else's round. Political centreist with far right and left viewpoints. A green activist from the hydrocarbon position with nuclear leanings. Averse to avarice but always happy to receive lottery wins, gifts, windfalls, legacies, prizes and wet sloppy kisses.
