More rip-roaring entertainment from Kent Police HQ Maidstone

Say what you like about our beloved Kent Police Crime Commissioner Ann Barnes (and her £1,500,000 a year tax payer funded department) but she’s  certainly got a got an eye for picking  out the garbage in the pile. Her choice of Yoof Police Commissioner found very wanting…………….AGAIN!.

This from the tinterwebby

The youth police and crime commissioner for Kent is doing no public engagements while reports of a relationship with a 50-year old man are being investigated.

The Sun said Kerry Boyd, 20, had a relationship with ex-county councillor and youth leader Robert Burgess.

Mr Burgess told BBC Radio Kent he and Miss Boyd had been “good friends” (Ed, does this mean shagging the arse off each other?)

PCC Ann Barnes said Miss Boyd was being supported but a Kent Police and Crime Panel member has said Mrs Barnes should consider her own position.(Ed, so do we!!)

Miss Boyd was appointed to the post by Mrs Barnes in March, succeeding Paris Brown who resigned over comments she had posted on Twitter.

Councillor Tony Martin, from the Kent Police and Crime Panel, said: “The general worry I have got is that it’s not the first time it has happened with Ann Barnes. We were assured last time that this would not happen again.

About allatsea

Sixty year old master-mariner. Absolutely gorgeous. Well wedged.....when compared to a Nairobi street urchin. Sorted, in that I haven't been in court recently. Hopelessly optimistic, terminally disappointed. Good with cats and other fluffy things. No musical talent. Generous to a fault provided it's someone else's round. Political centreist with far right and left viewpoints. A green activist from the hydrocarbon position with nuclear leanings. Averse to avarice but always happy to receive lottery wins, gifts, windfalls, legacies, prizes and wet sloppy kisses.

Oh yes indeed. Good to know that your lot are keeping up the tradition of having fun on the taxpayers’ money. Quite reminds me of the good ole days of the GLC way back when. *nostalgia*
