Margate sands, moles and geese.

There’s been a lot of weight in the wind lately. There’s been a lot of wind from the North and Northwest too. Come to think of it, following on from the great diet change to all things ‘Lentil’, there’s been a lot of wind in allatsea’s underpants but that’s for another time and indeed, another blog.

The sands have been driven right up to street level in places. There’ll be bulldozers on Marine Parade at this rate.  JCB anyone?

The sands here are around 2 metres deeper than they were back in August. Main pedestrian access well and truly buried.

A bleakish scene and no mistake guvnor but at least the grass is greener here.

A hundred years ago this block of residences would have been quite majestic. Not so now but better than it has been lately.

About allatsea

Sixty year old master-mariner. Absolutely gorgeous. Well wedged.....when compared to a Nairobi street urchin. Sorted, in that I haven't been in court recently. Hopelessly optimistic, terminally disappointed. Good with cats and other fluffy things. No musical talent. Generous to a fault provided it's someone else's round. Political centreist with far right and left viewpoints. A green activist from the hydrocarbon position with nuclear leanings. Averse to avarice but always happy to receive lottery wins, gifts, windfalls, legacies, prizes and wet sloppy kisses.
