SARP    Sailors against rough passages

Calm seas, quiet cabins

Soft beds, long leaves

Tasty grub, short trips

Nicely decorated messrooms with small green leaves

Sundays off, subservient crews

Rigidly flexible work schedules and vacuum loos

ISM free, QA nowhere to be seen

Office hours departures

Long smokos, late turn to’s

Ample dhoby dust, no greasing to do

Unlimited spares, early evening tipples

Nicer coloured uniforms, stronger toilet seats

Self tensioning winches and accessible cleats
